League Rules 

  • All coaches must carry their own first aid kit team ice and basketballs for warmups.

  • Each game will be two 20 minute running halves until the last 2 minutes of each half. 

  • A team may begin the game with 4 players.

    • Substitution fee- if a team find themselves short players to avoid a forfeit they can invite a sub to play that night. Due to insurance purposes and league rules the player must complete the sub fee and registration before playing the league game

  • If a team is not present by 10 minutes after the hour the game will be entered as a forfeit.

Pressing:

  • 3rd/4th no pressing until the last 2 mins of the game 

  • A team can not press up 15 more 

Fouls and free throws:

  • 6 personal fouls to foul out 

  • 8 fouls per half to shoot 2 free throws (no 1-1) 

  • All free throws are on the release

  • Technical  foul- a technical will result in 2 points and the ball.

    • Any player or coach who is ejected will be suspended for the next 2 league games.

    • Any spectator who is removed from the gym will not be allowed back on the property for the remainder of the season.

  • 2 timeouts per half they do not carry over 

  • Overtime will be 2 minutes, 1 timeout per team. 

  • Double overtime will be sudden death 

    All other rules will be played under PIAA rules and regulations 

    PLEASE NOTE: All divisions are based on the grade that participants will be enrolled in the Fall of the following school year. For example, if the league takes place in the summer of 2023 and your participant is currently in 6th grade, then they are required to play in the 7th/8th grade division and cannot participate in the 5th/6th grade division.
